Joseph Quentin “Joe” Kisner, 91, a resident of the Limestone Street Neighborhood, St. George, West Virginia, departed this life Thursday, March 25, 2021.
He was born Friday, July 12, 1929, at Limestone Mt., St. George, a son of the late Truman W. and Lunda Harriett White Kisner.
On Nov. 13, 1967, at Oakland, Maryland, he was married to the previous Virginia Faye Pennington, who survives.
Additionally surviving are one son, Mark A. Kisner and spouse, Mary, of Decatur, Alabama; twin daughters, Joan and JoAnn, each of Maryland; one brother, Gerald T. Kisner of Putnam County; one grandson, Finley Kisner.
Previous him in loss of life are three brothers, Theodore, Wilfred and David Kisner; and three sisters, Edith Auvil, Leah Smith and Betty Charmin.
He attended the one room college at Limestone and a graduate of Parsons Excessive Faculty with the category of 1947. He was a veteran of the US Military and Military reserves, working in Baltimore, Maryland, earlier than and after his military obligation.
After shifting again to Parsons, he was a farmer on the farm he was born and raised. He was an insurance coverage agent for Reserve Life Insurance coverage Firm and belonged to ASCS with the US Division of Agriculture. He was a member of the V.F.W. of Terra Alta and a member of the Methodist Church at Limestone. Throughout his spare time, Joe loved leather-based craftwork.
Mr. Kisner’s request for cremation was honored and a memorial service shall be held at a later date.
