HUBBARD — Dorothy “Dotty” Louise Johnson, 92, died Thursday morning, March 25, 2021, at Windsor Home at Liberty Well being Care.
She was born Dec. 28, 1928, in Detroit, Mich., a daughter of Louis and Catherine Beltowski Chura, and had lived in Hubbard for over 55 years.
Dotty, a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, was a lifeguard and water security and adaptive aquatics teacher for a few years. She acquired her certificates as a grasp gardener from Mill Creek Fellowship Gardens, loved crocheting and stitching, and particularly cherished her household.
Her husband, William Arthur Johnson, whom she married Nov. 25, 1950, died June 10, 2007.
She leaves three sons, Michael Johnson and his spouse Patty, Donald Johnson, and Robert Johnson and his spouse Debbie, all of Hubbard; three daughters, Dotti Johnson of Hubbard, Nancy Miller of Baltimore, Md., and Linda Kinser and her husband Rick of Twinsburg; a daughter-in-law, Francie Johnson; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Dotty was preceded in dying by her mother and father; her husband, Invoice; and two sons, Dana and Billy Johnson.
Household and associates might name 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Monday, March 29, 2021, at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church Parish Heart, 325 N. Essential St., Hubbard, OH 44425. A Mass of Christian burial will observe at 11:30 a.m. within the Parish Heart. As a result of COVID-19, it’s requested that each one these in attendance observe social distancing and correct well being protocols and that each one friends, whose well being permits, put on a face masks.
