Two Baltimore ladies have been arrested in West Virginia after allegedly stealing greater than $18,000 value of cologne from a retail retailer in Altoona, Logan Township police say.
On Feb. 20, Teyona M. Griffith, 24, and Keiara D. Stokes, 30, allegedly entered the Ulta Magnificence Retailer at 205 Falon Lane, and threatened workers with pepper spray as they stole about 190 bottles of males’s and girls’s fragrances, a information launch said.
Loading the gadgets into baggage from a Marshalls retailer, the ladies tried to exit the shop when an worker tried to seize one in all their baggage, prompting one of many ladies to say, “Let go of my bag or I’ll mace you,” police reported.
The duo fled the scene in an older, white Dodge Durango and entered Interstate 99 headed in an unknown route, a launch said.
Two days later, the ladies have been arrested in Martinsburg, W.Va., after stealing from one other retailer within the Ulta Magnificence chain, police reported. Legislation enforcement pursued the ladies, who have been finally stopped after their car ran over tire spikes.
