COLLEGE PARK, Md. (WJZ) — Maryland State Police are investigating a deadly pedestrian-involved crash Wednesday afternoon in Prince George’s County.
Troopers from the School Park Barrack responded to the outerloop of Interstate-495 at Route 450 for a reported crash.
In response to a preliminary investigation, a pedestrian was operating from the best shoulder throughout the freeway to the left shoulder the place his car was disabled on the shoulder.
Police say a grey 2007 Honda Accord started to gradual for site visitors that was making an attempt to yield to the pedestrian operating throughout the roadway when the Honda struck the sufferer within the left lane.
The driving force remained on the scene.
The sufferer, Ryan Cain, 26, of Virginia, was transported to the College of Maryland Prince George’s Hospital Heart, the place he died.
